Discovery Camp     $545
June 21-27, June 28-July 4,

Discovery Campers learn to be part of a community, trusting their team and counselors, while developing independence and self-confidence.  They take part in a daily Bible study and vespers in the evening, participate in activities like swimming, canoeing, archery, arts and crafts, sports, and nature; and, they will cook dinner & breakfast over a fire as well as camp out one in tents with their cabin. 

Explorer Camp    $545
June 21-27, June 28-July 4, 
July 5-11, July 12-18

Explorer campers learn to be part of a community, trusting their team and counselors, while developing independence and self-confidence.  They take part in a daily Bible study and evening vespers as well as traditional camp activities like swimming, canoeing, archery, arts and crafts, sports, and nature.  They will cook dinner & breakfast over a fire as well as camp out one in tents with their cabin.; and as older campers, also have opportunity to participate in high ropes, (power-pole and zipline), and mountain biking.

*Mini Camp     $350    
#1 June 24-27 #2 July 15-18

Mini-Camp is 3 ½ days long, from Wednesday afternoon to Saturday morning and is especially developed for those first timers or those who would rather not be away an entire week.  Mini-campers are part of the S.A.L.T. Program where older campers are given the opportunity to develop leadership skills while younger campers receive much more one-on-one attention from older teens. Campers will participate in Bible study, tie dyeing, canoeing, arts and crafts, cooking out and much more!

*Eco Camp   $545
July 12-18

Eco Campers take a deeper look at the world God created and learn to be better stewards of the environment. Each camper is part of a field investigation team working in the local forest ecosystem; participating in astronomy, an owl hike, and an aquatic biology study at the lake.  They also participate in a service project; daily Bible study and evening vespers; and, participate in traditional summer camp activities like swimming, canoeing, archery, arts and crafts, sports, and, they camp out in tents one night with their cabin.

*M.A.D. Camp  (Music, Art & Drama) $545
June 28-July 4

MAD Camp is a specialty week focused on a theatrical performance centered on worship with many of the traditional summer camp experiences offered as well.  Participants learn to think on their feet and are challenged through role play and improvisation. As part of the week, campers will participate in developing a worship time for all the campers and produce a worship production for parent at closing program on Saturday.

*Adventure Camp $545
July 5-11 

Adventure Campers stay in the Gilmont tree houses.  They will be challenged to stretch outside their comfort zones participating in a series of challenges.  Each day, campers will cook at least 2 meals over a camp fire; learn skills to be successful in the outdoors; conduct a service project; and, participate in some of the traditional summer camp experiences as well.

*S.A.L.T. Camp (Service and Leadership Training)
June 21-27  &  July 5-11    $545

SALT (Service and Leadership Training) campers will have the opportunity to serve the greater camp community while learning ways to engage others in team building initiatives, problem solving, communication and servant-hood.  Putting leadership skills into actions, SALT campers will be partially responsible for the mini-campers and will help with the daily ministry operations of the camp. High ropes, including the zip-line and power pole as well as mountain biking, along with other traditional camp activities round out the week of fun and spiritual growth as a SALT participant.

*Two Week Internship  $225
June 21-July 4  &  July 5-18

Gilmont Interns participate in a two week camp experience. The first week, they participate with the SALT program and the second week they serve more in an assistant counselor role.  If participant is 16 years old the first day of camp, they must have gone through the SALT program.  Interns learn teaching techniques; go through discussions in delivery of low ropes course initiatives; help plan and deliver vesper services with guidance from the Spiritual Adviser; plan and teach alongside program staff; take part in and understand all specialty camps; and, discover the fun and responsibilities of becoming a counselor.
